    The College of St. Scholastica announced that alum Kevin Ritsche will take over as head baseball coach. Ritsche comes over from Winston-Salem State where he was the head coach from 2010 until WSS dropped their program at the conclusion of the 2019 season.

However, Bethany Lutheran College, the team that shared the regular season title with the Saints, would not only win the first game to force a winner-take-all game, but also take the second game to capture the UMAC Tournament title.

(csssaints.com) - The St. Scholastica baseball team scored twice in the bottom of the eighth to break a 2-2 tie to defeat Bethany Lutheran College 4-2 on Friday at Wade Stadium in the second day of the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Tournament to earn a spot in Saturday's championship game. CSS will have a rematch with the Vikings in tomorrow's championship after Bethany defeated the University of Northwestern (Minn.) with a walk-off single.

(csssaints.com) – The College of St. Scholastica baseball team entered the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) postseason tournament as the top seed, taking on the fifth-seeded University of Wisconsin-Superior Yellowjackets on day one of the three-day, double-elimination tournament. The Saints defended their home field well and proved their worthiness of the one seed, defeating Superior by a score of 19-4 on Thursday at Wade Stadium.

Game one ended with a score of 10-4, and the Saints managed a one-hit shutout in game two with a final score of 15-0 with the mercy-rule ending things after seven innings.

PAUL (csssaints.com) - The College of St. Scholastica baseball team finally had the opportunity to take on Bethel University Wednesday night, having to reschedule the Royals after unplayable field conditions postponed the original meeting in Duluth on Sunday. The game proved to be a thriller as the teams batted until the 15th inning, which is when Joey Zwak scored the game-winning run after a close play at the plate to give the Saints the 3-2 victory.

    Southern Maine and St. Scholastica extended their win streaks to 15 games with doubleheader sweeps on Saturday. The 15 game win streaks are the second longest active streaks, a game shy of La Roche's 16 game streak.
