May 24, 2019 Super Regionals open with thrillers Johns Hopkins and W&J had the easiest path to a weekend opening win as Heidelberg, Babson, UMass-Boston, and Webster all needed runs in the 7th inning or later to get a Friday win. Two more games are on tap as Chapman and BSC host games.
May 19, 2019 Super Regionals filled, almost Cortland broke out the bats to advance to the super regionals, W&J and Johns Hopkins secured spots next as the 16 team super regionals took shape. Concordia-Chicago extended their regional into Monday with a 14-13 win in extra innings over Baldwin Wallace.
May 8, 2019 Devore, Loutos, Rogerson get weekly award A near-1.000 average and a two-hitter took home the top honors for the final 2019 NCBWA Div. III Weekly Awards, while a 7-for-11 performance at a conference tournament was the top outing of the week by a rookie. This week’s honorees were selected for games played April 29-May 5.
March 31, 2019 Dallas gets upset, Marietta and Westminster too Dallas scored n the 12th inning to upset No. 5 Texas Lutheran to salvage one in a three game set. Marietta and Westminster (Mo.) split their doubleheaders with ranked conference foes Heidelberg and Webster.
March 25, 2019 2019 D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25 The new top team is the Christopher Newport. The Captains were last ranked at the top spot in Week 8, 2011. New this week to the Top 25 are Heidelberg and Washington Univ. Birmingham-Southern and Cortland drop out.
April 4, 2016 Makeup Monday Olivet and Heidelberg were just a few teams that found themselves playing conference foes on Monday instead of the weekend. Weather continued to keep teams off the diamond but not in the CAC where No. 12 Salisbury split with Mary Washington.
