It's taken us an extra two hours to get started on Sunday in Appleton, because, of course, we started with rain!

So Trinity (Texas) and Cortland, finally got their winner's bracket game finished, four hours late, with the Tigers winning 9-7 behing homers from Drew Butler and Jose Santos. And Keystone came up with a big sixth inning for the second game in a row, going on to beat La Roche 6-1.

Cortland and UW-La Crosse met in an elimination game, in a rematch of the 2015 Championship Series, and Cortland came out on top once again, defeating the Eagles 8-3.

St. John Fisher's elimination game for tonight ended up getting pushed to Monday.

Meanwhile, check out this morning's feature story, as Erik Buchinger looks at the resurgence of the UW-La Crosse baseball program after it nearly hit the chopping block in 2009.
