March 19, 2014 Gallaudet upsets No. 10 Rowan in Florida LAKELAND, Fla. – For the second year in a row, the Gallaudet University baseball team beat a ranked Rowan University squad on its annual spring break trip at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational. The Bison split the doubleheader with the Profs, winning the first game 2-0 and dropping the second 12-3, at Henley Field. The triumph over 10th-ranked Rowan marks the biggest win in program history.
March 9, 2014 Holsworth throws gem as Gallaudet shuts out Christopher Newport, 1-0 NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Junior pitcher Brandon Holsworth (Beal City, Mich.) had a career game Sunday at Captains Park as he pitched Gallaudet University to a 1-0 shutout over in-region powerhouse Christopher Newport University. Gallaudet (8-3) came through with its seven consecutive win as the Bison defeated the unranked Captains (7-7).
