Zachary Turton Commits to Play Baseball for Greensboro College

Zachary Turton of Huntersville, NC has committed to play baseball for Greensboro College, announced Pride Head Coach Ken Carlyle.
Turton, a multi-sport athlete at Hopewell High School in Huntersville, was the first four-year baseball letterman in school history. In 2006 he was named MVP of the Ashley High School spring break tournament. In 2007 he was Hopewell’s defensive MVP and broke the school record for stolen bases. In addition to his baseball achievements Turton was an A-B Honor Roll student.
Turton joins a Pride team that went 20-20 in 2007 under Coach Carlyle. Greensboro College competes in the USA South Athletic Conference of NCAA Division III athletics.
