Senior Mike Cieszko threw a complete game to lead RPI to a 3-0 victory over Cortland State. Sophomore Jonny Rio had a 2-run single and classmate Tanner Boucher added a run-scoring single in the fourth for RPI
Carthage closed out its spring trip with a 6-1 win over UW-Oshkosh in a contest between progams receiving votes in this weeks Top 25. Carthage closed out its trip with a five-game winning streak. Pitcher Mario Perez was the winning pitcher. Perez allowed just one unearned run on four hits and a walk over five innings, while striking out four batters.
Second ranked Shenandoah kept its baseball record perfect Saturday afternoon with a 5-3 USA South Conference win over Methodist. Shenandoah scored two runs in the second, one in the third and two in the fifth to take out the Monarchs. All-America Greg Van Sickler allowed 10 hits, but just two runs, one earned for this sixth victory of the year.
Texas-Tyler scored ten runs in each of two games against the Ozarks to remain undefeated on the season. With the 10-0 and 10-4 wins, the Patriots move their record to 21-0. Texas-Tyler has the second most wins in D-III baseball. Christopher Newport lead D-III with 23 wins.
The eighth ranked Marietta Pioneers held off a late rally from visiting Piedmont to win its eighth straight with a 7-5 victory at the Southeast Ohio Invitational. Marietta (12-1) finished with 10 hits and overcame four errors in the win. The Lions (12-9) collected 12 hits and made one error in the loss. Tim Saunders paced Marietta's offensive attack, finishing 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI.

Keene State is returning from Florida with one of their best spring trips ever (7-1), as first-baseman Dan Arsenault's RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning lifted the Owls to a 6-5 victory over Roger Williams.
Two manufactured runs were just enough to give George Fox a 2-0
win over Willamette as the Bruins’ Brian Ranta won a tight
pitching duel with the Bearcats’ Brandon Simon in the first
game of a three-game NWC series at Morse Field. Right-hander Ranta
made those two runs stand up as he tossed a complete game, his
fourth of the season, and his second career shutout. He
scattered five hits, struck out eight, and walked one.
Trinity (Conn.) rallied for two runs in the seventh inning of game
one and pitchers Andrew Janiga and David Casanova combined for a a
one-hitter in the second game to lead the Bantams to a 5-4, 4-1
doubleheader sweep of Westfield State. Westfield's No. 9 hitter
Sean Geary had three of the Owls’ six hits in the twinbill,
including a dramatic solo home run with two outs in the seventh
inning of the nightcap to break up a no-hitter.
David Giglio drove in six runs in the nightcap to help Scranton split a Landmark Conference doubleheader against Merchant Marine. Giglio hit his second home run of the season and belted his first double of the year as the Royals won the second game, 13-4, after being shutout, 2-0, in the opener.
Penn-State Behrend defeated Waynesburg 6-2 and 6-4 to earn two non-conference wins. In game one, Ryan Kragnes batted 3-for-4 scoring two runs while Blake Pavlik went 2-for-3 and tallied one run. In game two, Matt Bittner went 2-for-3 and batted in two runners to help the Lions win a close 6-4 victory.
