With the top four teams suffering losses this week, undefeated Eastern Connecticut State rose to the top spot in the
D3baseball/NCBWA Top 25 from fifth last week. The Warriors received 17 first-place votes and 604 points as the fourth new team in the No. 1 spot.
Salisbury received three first-place votes and 563 points to remain at number two. Texas-Tyler gained a position in this week's poll with 505 points. Tied at the fourth position is last week's top-ranked team, Trinity (Conn.) and Millsaps, the winningest team in D-III baseball. Trinity (Conn.) received a single first-place vote and Millsaps garnered three first-place votes as they each accumulated 502 points. Wheaton (Mass.) received the other first-place vote and 457 points to rise to the sixth spot. Wooster, St. Scholastica, Kean and Southern Maine finish out the top ten.
Linfield, on the strength of a 4-0 weekend, made the biggest jump in the poll as they vaulting 7 spots to a No. 13 ranking. Heidelberg fell 9 spots to 12th with a 1-3 week that included a sweep by OAC rival Marietta. St. Thomas rejoined and York makes their first appearance in the Top 25. Adrian and Carthage fell out of this week's poll.
