Wesley College third baseman Grant Morlock hit for the cycle as the Wolverines (27-14)closed out the regular season with
a 26-3 drubbing of Polytechnic in a game played at KeySpan Park, home of the Brooklyn Cyclones, the short season-A affiliate of the New York Mets.
The sophomore from Bel Air, Maryland started off the game with a walk and a strikeout before tripling in the third inning. He then singled in the fifth and clubbed his second homer of the year in the seventh. Just a double short of the cycle, Morlock stroked his sixth two-base hit of the year in the eighth. He drove in four runs and scored two others.
