Top seeded Kean pounded out 21 hits en route to an 18-9 victory over Rowan in the winners bracket game of the NJAC Tournament Sunday afternoon at Bears & Eagles Riverfront Stadium. With the win the Cougars (33-9) advance to the championship game on Monday, May 5. Montclair State advanced to play Kean on Monday with a 10-1 win against William Paterson and a 7-2 win over Rowan. Joining the NJAC in determining a champion on Monday will be the North Atlantic Conference. Due to poor weather, the Husson-Castleton NAC title game has been postponed to a time and location that will be determined.

In non tournament action, Transylvania (28-10) rallied for five runs in the eighth inning Sunday, denying Rose-Hulman the Heartland Conference championship with a 5-3 win and clinching the fourth and final spot in next week's league tournament. The Engineers (28-11) needed a win to get the HCAC title over Mount St. Joseph. Instead, Ben Luking (8-1) pitched into the ninth inning, allowing just one earned run, and Ben Young drove in the game-winner during the decisive eighth inning. St. Norbert put the finishing touches on its third Midwest Conference North Division Championship in four years with a 4-2, 8-2 doubleheader sweep of Ripon at Francis Field. The sweep, the first for the Green Knights in Ripon since April 26, 1978, put St. Norbert at 24-9 overall and 13-3 in the MWC North. Ripon, ranked 23rd nationally by D3baseball.com, finished the regular-season at 25-8, 12-4.
